Some words from "Sherlock"....

The film is almost finished shooting!

We have been so very fortunate with this production, finding fantastic locations in which to re-create Sherlock and Watson's world. Our crowning achievement came thanks to the support of the wonderful owners of The Victoria Rose Inn in Gananoque, ON. Susanne and Bernie opened their doors to us, and allowed us to shoot all of our Baker Street interiors within their authentic 1872 property, just as they are approaching the end of their closed season. With authentic victorian furnishing - and all sorts of incredible props supplied by artists Marie-Claude and Olivier Delcourt, you can see (below) that we were able to create an authentic representation of our heroes' famous lodgings!

We were also quite fortunate to arrange the services of a horse and carriage (supplied by White's Rides of Wolfe Island), and shot an impressive street scene on the grounds of the former psychiatric hospital in Kingston.... complimented by 15 Victorian extras! Here are some pics (courtesy of Marie-Claude Delcourt):

Finally, we have enjoyed some more rpess... here's a link to an article which appears in this week's edition of The Gananoque Reporter.

I'm heading off on holiday, and will resume the final days of shooting at the end of May. But before I leave, I wanted to tantalize with more from our very special production. Below is a video-tour of the Baker Street set, produced by Delcourt Films - I hope you enjoy!

Cheers... Anthony.
